Clover Eathkind Salon customers help clean up oil spill!
One of my favourite things to say about Clover Earthkind Salon is that we recycle everything, including your hair.
Clover Earthkind successfully recycles and/or diverts 77% of its solid waste stream. One of the ways the salon does this is by saving all the hair that is cut at the salon. It is saved for 2 reasons; as wildlife deterrent for local individuals and to help clean up oil spills.
Today a few boxes of hair was shipped out to Florida to help clean up one of the biggest oils spills in the Gulf of Mexico.
This site makes it possible for everyone to be able to help by donating hair and fur clippings to make hair boons and carpets to clean up oil spills
